Oak
Haven was founded by Cathy and Bobby Harrell,
out of a daughter's love for her parents.
Several years ago, my husband Bobby and I went searching for an
assisted living community for my Mom and Dad. When we couldn't
find a community that was right for my parents, we realized the
need for a place like Oak Haven. We designed and built Oak Haven
to have everything we wanted for Mom and Dad. We wanted to make
sure that my parents were receiving the care they needed while
remaining as active and independent as possible. We have worked
hard to create a homelike setting designed to make our residents
feel comfortable and to meet their needs. We hope you'll visit
us soon. And, we won't mind a bit if we catch you whispering with
my Mom.
If you need some help or assistance, that's what Oak Haven is
all about. At Oak Haven, we can provide as much or as little as
you need: Three meals a day, housekeeping, laundry, reminders
to take medications, and much more. We provide 24-hour loving,
caring staff who work together to help ensure that our residents
get the care they need. We have a full-time Nurse and an Activities
Director on staff seven days a week to help our residents stay
healthy, active and happy.
At mealtimes, you can sit and relax with family, or with your
Oak Haven neighbors in our beautiful dining room surrounded by
lots of windows. The dining room has gorgeous views of our landscaped
courtyards. When you're ready to visit with new friends, you'll
have several parlors, activity rooms and large porches with ceiling
fans to sit and relax while you meet new people.
For
the memory impaired or Alzheimer's resident, we offer Ivy Court,
a complete dementia neighborhood in a self-contained area. The
studio apartments in Ivy Court offer closets and a private bath
just like the rest of Oak Haven. There are memory shelves outside
the rooms where your loved one can put family treasures to help
remember their past.

sum it up, Oak Haven is a wonderful place to call home. We try
to provide everything you need to be safe, secure, and happy…and
lots of friends to share it with. It's time to get your peace
