Because of health and medical problems, it was necessary to move
my mother into an assisted living facility recently.
I toured several assisted living facilities in the area in search
of one which would provide the best care for my mother's needs.
The decision for mom to move to Oak Haven was based on several
factors. First, I am familiar with Bobby Harrell and the good
work he does in the State House of Representatives.
I
also had listened to the radio advertisements that his wife Cathy
had broadcast relating to finding a good facility for her mother.
This impressed me because I felt like if it was good enough for
Cathy's mother, it must be an excellent facility.
When
I came to tour Oak Haven, you took me on a very detailed guided
tour plus you gave me brochures that further defined the services
provided by Oak Haven (which at the time, most of the facilities
I had contacted didn't.)
Based on what I had observed, which included the modern facility,
cleanliness, genuine interest of the caregivers, spacious suites,
the closeness to our home, which I reported to and explained to
my mother, she decided that Oak Haven was the best place for her
to reside.
Indeed,
it was a good decision.
I
want to take this opportunity to commend you and Bobby and Cathy
Harrell for such a wonderful place home for my mother. The personnel
are very caring and it is gratifying to me to know that my mother
is being cared for so well. She has adjusted well and interacts
with the other residents which in turn has made her life more
comfortable.
Thank
you for everything.

Dear
Cathy and Bobby,
Another testimonial:
January 28, 2005
Mom loved living at
Oak Haven, and she particularly enjoyed the
"resident" cats on the porch. I have some great memories
of recent
Sunday afternoons on the porch with her holding a cat in her lap.
The
cats are worth their weight in gold t the residents. Well, thanks
for
everything.

P.S. Ellie, the Activity
Director is worth her weight in gold also!
Thank you
for all you did to help my Dad get Mom settled into Oak Haven
yesterday. We are blessed to have such a friendly environment
for her to live in. Oak Haven is certainly a "cut above" other
assisted living providers. I'm sure I will be seeing you again
soon.
Thanks
again

Dear Mr. &
Mrs. Harrell,
We want you to know how much we appreciate the chance to make
Oak Haven a home for our mother, Camiell, the past three years
and two months. It gave her a chance to be cared for and also
to be with others for activities and fellowship. The staff and
caregivers were always nice to her. Thank you again for providing
a beautiful home for Camiell and many others.

South Carolina Representative and Mrs. Bobby Harrell,
Thank You for providing such a beautiful Assisted Living Facility
for our seniors and their families. Your home gives us a secure
and peaceful surrounding for our loved ones when assistance is
needed. We are very pleased with the care given to both of our
parents. We appreciate the continuing care of our mother. May
God give you strength and courage to continue this service to
our aging population as you have in the past few years.
God
Bless You,
Mrs. Ernestine W. Capers, Children, Grandchildren and Great-grandchildren
Thank
you for Oak Haven and the care givers there.

I want to
take this opportunity to thank you for the care you have
provided for my mother. When she moved in July 10, 2000, I felt
very
comfortable that day and have never felt otherwise during the
past four
years. I have loved getting to know the staff. When my brother
and
sister are able to come to Charleston to visit her they feel the
same
way. You have provided peace of mind for all of us. Thank you
for
caring!
Family
Ownership And Caring Several years ago,
my husband Bobby and I went searching for an assisted living
community for my Mom and Dad. When we couldn't find a community
that was right for my parents, we realized the need for a
place like Oak Haven. We designed and build Oak Haven to have
everything we wanted for my Mom and Dad. We wanted to make
sure that my parents were receiving the care they needed while
remaining as active and independent as possible. We have worked
hard to create a homelike setting designed to make our residents
feel comfortable and to meet their needs. We hope you'll visit
us soon.
